Refer a Friend: Give $10, Get $10


Give $10. Get $10. Fishing’s better with a buddy, and so is new gear.

How it works

  1. Get your link. Tap the Refer a Friend button at the bottom right of our homepage. If you’ve ordered with us before, you’re already enrolled.
  2. Share it. Send your link to the people you fish with.
  3. Your friend saves $10 on their first order of $50 or more.
  4. You get $10. About 7 days after your friend places their order, we’ll email you a $10 reward code.

There’s no limit on how many friends you can refer, and your reward codes never expire.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

  • The friend reward is for new customers only and applies to their first order with North Run Tackle.
  • Each person can be referred only once.
  • You can’t refer yourself. Referrals using your own other email addresses, accounts, shipping address or payment method don’t qualify.

Friend reward

  • $10 off a first order with a subtotal of $50 CAD or more, after any other discounts and before taxes and shipping.
  • One referral discount per order. Referral codes from different friends can’t be used together.
  • Each code can be used once.

Referrer reward

  • A $10 reward code is emailed about 7 days after your friend’s order is placed.
  • If your friend’s order is cancelled or fully refunded before then, no reward is issued.
  • Reward codes have no minimum order and never expire. You can use several reward codes on one order, up to 5 codes per order (a Shopify checkout limit).
  • Each reward code is single-use. Any part of a code you don’t use on an order is not carried over or refunded.

Using rewards with other promotions

Whether a referral or reward code can be combined with a current sale or promotion depends on that promotion’s terms.

No cash value

Rewards have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for cash.

Fair use

If we believe the program has been misused or a referral is fraudulent, North Run Tackle may, at its sole discretion:

  • cancel the affected order and issue a full refund to the original payment method;
  • withhold, cancel or void any referral rewards or codes; and
  • remove the participant from the program.

Misuse includes, but is not limited to, trying to use more than one referral discount on an order, self-referrals, creating multiple accounts or email addresses, and posting referral codes on public coupon or deal websites. We’ll let you know by email if we take any of these actions.

Changes to the program

We may change or end this program at any time. Reward codes already issued stay valid unless they were obtained through misuse.
